 Reviews and News - March 2011 Note from Nina: First the bad news for us WWBers...... There won’t be any Waddy Wachtel Band gigs in March or April. If we end up getting a gig at the end of April or early May, I’ll let you know as soon as I do. Good news for folks in other parts of the world....... You can get a chance to see some of the members of WWB performing with other artists. Yes, the boys are keeping busy..... That’s why we won’t have them together playing for us for a while. Waddy Wachtel...... .... With Stevie Nicks on the “Heart and Soul Tour” March 20 - April 23, 2011. Also on the bill with them is Rod Stewart. For tour dates, band members and more info as it arrives, check this page on Waddy’s web site: "Heart & Soul Tour" Waddy can also be heard playing guitar on Stevie’s new cd “In Your Dreams” to be released on May 3, 2011. .... Playing guitar on a new single “Shame On Me” just released by Katrina and produced by Val Garay. The single is doing well, and her cd “In The Blink Of An Eye” will be released later this month - with lots of Waddy’s guitar on it. .... Playing guitar on the new Michael Grimm cd “Michael Grimm” produced by Don Was. The cd is scheduled for release on May 17, 2011. .... Music score by Waddy for a new Adam Sandler film “Born To Be A Star” is set for release September 9, 2011. Rick Rosas........ .... Performing with Buffalo Springfield at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, TN on June 10, 2011. The band consists of Richie Furay, Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Rick Rosas, and Joe Vitale. Rick will let us know (and I’ll let you know) when other dates for Buffalo Springfield gigs are confirmed. Blondie Chaplin........ .... Reuniting with The Flames for 2 gigs back in his homeland, South Africa. - Cape Town International Jazz Festival Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town, South Africa Friday, March 25, 2011 - Durban Festival March 27, 2011 The Flames have re-released a cd of “Burning Soul” and “Soulfire” which can be purchased at this web site: The Flames ....
