	Reviews and News - May 2007 Review: Waddy Wachtel Band at The Joint 5/11/07 Nina's Notes: Oh yeah - Everyone rocked Friday night with the Waddy Wachtel Band at The Joint. It was a wonderful Going Away Party for Waddy, who'll be gone for a couple of months on tour with Stevie Nicks. I just know Waddy will miss us - but I think we'll miss him more! The Joint was packed, and it was such a nice crowd - everyone so happy to be there and hear all those rockin' songs. Dave (owner/manager of TJ) jumped up on the bar during the second set to make a special toast to Waddy - telling him how much we love him and will miss him. Waddy toasted Dave back - telling him how much we all appreciate having him at The Joint (the best club in L.A.). Lots of toasting going around - and cheering! Although some people were asking who the "Special Guests" were that might show up for the gig, when WWB started playing - we all knew we had the most Special guests around. It's always a treat when friends of the band get up there to perform with them, and we all really appreciate them showing up, but WWB ROCKS all on their own. I remember one night a few years ago when it was just Waddy, Phil and Rick on stage for 2 sets on a Monday night - and they filled the place with incredible music. We got it good! Boo Hoo! Anyway, Waddy did say that Phil and Rick will be keeping things going at The Joint while he and Brett are gone. I don't know who they'll come up with to perform with them, but I'll keep you all notified as soon as I find out. Thanks from me and the band to everyone who rocked with us on Friday night.
